We’re looking into that

Article posted on March 4, 2018

There wasn’t much in the Sunday newspapers this week.  I saw one story on the Education Committee’s hearing.  Another takeaway was that problems with children that go unaddressed can lead to bigger problems, including large-scale violent behavior.  The kid that’s bullied at school can end up killing others at some point in his life, so the detection of his problems early by teachers and guidance counselors and getting the help necessary is critical.  There also appears to be a lack of coordination between a school and law enforcement or social service agencies in the community.  We’re looking into that and some other issues further.
