If the Governor accepts it

Article posted on February 9, 2018

I was out for breakfast early this morning at Begin With Us to be with my little friend Branson and his grandparents, but Branson was sick and couldn’t make it.  I hope he’s feeling better soon.  I got a little extra office work in before a meeting at 10:00 with some very interesting leaders in the conservative movement from around PA and nationally.  We had a spirited discussion on several issues, which serves as a reminder to me, that good conservatives do not always agree on everything.  I was also honored to speak by phone with a conservative national icon today about a legislative issue.  I was encouraged by the enthusiasm these men continue to demonstrate for positive change in America and their depth of knowledge.  Tonight the Governor was given a Congressional map by the legislative leadership that makes substantial changes to virtually every district.  The map was not passed by the legislature, so it’s simply a proposal at this point, but there are plans to vote on it next week if the Governor accepts it.
