Received a lot of support

I was at the Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center most of the afternoon for a tour.  This is a very large building, designed originally for full-day students, but changed about 14 years ago to half-day students with adult students in some courses.  They have an impressive array of programs and have been recognized by Governor Wolf in his first year as the only “Schools that Teach” winner.  I was able to try two simulators at the school, one for welding and another for automobile painting.  I actually did pretty well on the welding machine, not so well on the fender I painted.  Schools like this often struggle financially, but they have an entrepreneurial spirit that has allowed them to build programs for adults to generate income and rent out their excess space to tenants.  I was very impressed with their operation.  This evening, I did my Constitutional Convention power point for the Blair County Tea Party.  The legislation, again, received a lot of support by those in attendance.
