Come see it if you can

We had another Constitutional Convention workshop in Pittsburgh this morning.  It was held at the William Pitt Union Building on the Pitt campus.  We had a smaller turnout of the public, but some of Pitt’s staff came, as did the school’s chancellor.  Again, the program seemed to be well received with a lot of interest.  I left there for the Capitol, about a 3 ½ hour drive, to attend a Plan Con Advisory Committee meeting.  We’re supposed to finish all of the recommendations to this complicated school construction reimbursement process by January.  We have another meeting next week as we digest the information presented in months of hearings and arrive at a solution.  I got some work done at the office and planned to stay over tonight because of a speaking engagement at the Harrisburg Chamber tomorrow morning at 8:15 followed by two meetings at the Capitol starting at 10:30.  The Capitol is exceptionally pretty at Christmas time, come see it if you can.
