4 degrees and windy

I attended the funeral of Jules Patt this morning.  Jules was a developer who worked throughout the east coast and at one time was one of the top developers in the country.  He ran for governor in the Democratic Primary against Ed Rendell and Bobbie Casey (and we know who won that race).  He suffered with Parkinson’s Disease for the past 20 years, which was tough.  My prayers are with his family.  I got to the Tyrone Tree Lighting ceremony this evening, followed by their Christmas parade, then drove to Homewood Home in Martinsburg for a Christmas concert put on by the Altoona Symphony.  It was excellent.  They’re playing at the Mishler this weekend and Charlotte and I would encourage you to go, if you can get a ticket.  Enjoy the warm weather over the weekend.  Our plan is to decorate for Christmas; better now than when it’s 4 degrees and windy.
