Reshape how state government works

Article posted on October 16, 2017

Both the House and Senate are back in session this week.  There is discussion about the House moving some of the budget bills, but you never know how that may work out.  We’re continuing to work on some ideas, but the bills in play are all in the House.  Rep. Steve Bloom and I have a newser tomorrow morning at 9:00 that can be viewed on my website and Facebook.  We’re going to introduce our legislation, which would offer to the voters of this state the opportunity to have a limited constitutional convention, the first since 1968.  The convention would be limited to the structure of the three branches of government.  If you think government has gotten out of control, this is the opportunity for our citizens to take charge and reshape how state government works.
