Most are noncontroversial

I learned today that one of the victims of the shooting in Las Vegas was a constituent, Bill Wolfe, from Cumberland County.  He and his wife Robyn travelled west to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary.  Please keep his wife and family in your prayers.  At the Capitol, another deal was proposed and this one is expected to be working its way through the House tonight and the Senate tomorrow.  The deal is essentially the same as yesterday’s with the exception of the tax increase; instead of a sales tax on commercial storage transactions, there would be a 5% tax on hotel rooms.  Both taxes should generate the same annual revenue.  There are 10 bills that need to pass the legislature to finish the budget; unlike the Tax Code, most are noncontroversial.
