A classic example of wasted public dollars

Article posted on July 16, 2017

There were a few budget-related stories in the papers today, but there was no new info, just recap and speculation.  I saw a Philly Inquirer story on the PASSHE study that was announced last week.  Although the details are not yet out, the presentation by the firm completing the study was comprehensive enough to understand what they suggested, or more importantly didn’t suggest.  However, there was a dust up over one comment from the firm suggesting they didn’t really look at Cheyney’s problems because they were told by PASSHE that there was a task force already looking into the school.  They walked back that statement in this article saying they accounted for their problems in the analysis.  We’ll take a look at the details when they come out, but the study appears to me to be a classic example of wasted public dollars.
