I didn’t think much would happen with this story when it first broke

The big news out of Harrisburg today was a three-sentence letter from Governor Tom Wolf hand-delivered to Lt. Governor Mike Stack.  The letter said that the State Police security detail was being removed from the Lt. Governor and his wife and that the cleaning, cooking, and groundskeeping staff at their residence was cut back and would only work at prescribed times.  After a meeting with the Governor, the Lt. Governor issued a statement late today saying he accepted the Governor’s actions and will work to do better with the staff he has.  Reports say that this action was seen as “jaw dropping” by people at the Capitol.  There was no additional information released about the investigation by the Inspector General, if the Governor knows anything about the information gathered so far, if the report will be made public, or when it will be completed.  I didn’t think much would happen with this story when it first broke, but I was wrong, it has legs.
