I attended a ceremony this morning to recognize the work of the Blair County Children, Youth and Family Services office. I have gone to this annual event for years and appreciate the difficult work this office does every day. I saw a number of constituents after that and took care of a lot of other work in the office this afternoon. This evening I tried to work on my laptop at home, and couldn’t. I seem to have access issues with my office computers pretty regularly and therefore I regularly complain about them. I use four computers from the Senate, one at my Senate office at the capitol, one in the Senate chamber, one in the Hollidaysburg office and a laptop. It seems that one of them always has a problem. Fortunately, my Blackberry has been fairly reliable. I was forced into this technology and try to make the best of it. Sometimes I long for the old paper and pencil days.
