Good Friday is honored differently by many Christian denominations and even varies from congregation to congregation. Many of the Catholic sponsored fish fries in our area ended last week in observance of Good Friday, some still served dinner tonight. Not all churches hold a service this evening, some join together for community services. Whatever you do, take time to remember the series of events that happened at about this time a little more than 2,000 years ago, they are as important today as they were then. And to my Jewish friends, I wish you a blessed Passover.
