At the time of writing, there was still no decision in the Mike Veon Bonusgate trial. This is the 5th day of deliberations. The news stories today turned from the usual coverage to concerns about the longevity of the jury’s’ decision. This was a long case with lots of witnesses and evidence to go through and more than one person is on trial, but the prosecutors I have spoken with say that the jury being out for a long time and stopping yesterday to ask questions, are not good signs for the AG’s office. They also add that, you never know with a jury. So, we’ll wait and see. Maybe tomorrow will be the day.
