After my men’s fellowship group this morning, I worked until 3:00.. While Johnny is home, I took advantage of his help and moved the sofa bed, he used at school, from the garage to the basement. We got it out of the basement, but couldn’t get it back in for about 45 minutes. We unscrewed the legs of the sofa, took the basement door off its hinges and stripped everything off of the sofa we could. Finally we hit just the right angle, which Johnny spotted, and it slid through the doorway. I was beginning to think that we’d be there all night or find another place for the couch. Tonight I attended an awards dinner and theater production for the Blair County Arts Foundation.. Jean Geist was honored for her years of volunteer work for the arts in the community. It was a big crowd for the dinner and a sold out house at the Mishler Theater for a professional performance of “A Scandalous Affair”. It was a nice evening.
