I spoke at a Veteran’s Day assembly at Northern Bedford Elementary School this morning. It was a nice program. School Board President Larry Garlock did an American flag history presentation that included several flags. One was the second flag of our nation with 15 stars and 15 stripes. This was the flag that inspired “The Star Spangled Banner”. I got some work done at the office this afternoon and got an overdue haircut. I ended the day at an economic development meeting in Fulton County. We had several good discussions about various issues including economic diversity. An important topic for Fulton County. I have a full schedule of events tomorrow for Veteran’s Day. I am looking forward to them.
