I had a day planned to get a lot of work done and I did. With being away a lot of the summer, I need to get caught up with the things at home that should have been done months ago. I did get a couple hours of office work done but the rest of the day was spent doing things around the house and preparing for a few more things that I hope to finish up tomorrow. I go back to Harrisburg on Monday for session and a hearing and the installation of our newest member, Bob Mensch, who won a special election to fill the unexpired term of Rob Wonderling. Rob left in July to take the position of CEO of the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. I need to stay overnight in Harrisburg and go to a Local Government Commission meeting early Tuesday morning at the capitol. I was glad to see Penn State win today. I caught a little of the game during some shelving work. It was better to watch from home than be out in that snow/rain mix for hours. Maybe I’m getting old.
