I wish them the best

June 4th, 2009

I have never had so many media calls in the 13 years that I have been in public office. Between the Marriage Amendment, the budget and my new tax reform bill, I am getting calls from all over the state. I had to get out an op-ed piece today for the Harrisburg Patriot and get ready for a commencement address at Northern Bedford High School. I spoke at two other events today and put in some office time. Tomorrow I travel to over by Pittsburgh to do a television program. It’s been an exceptionally busy time. The people at Northern Bedford tonight could not have been more gracious. I spent some time with the graduates in the gym before they went out to the ceremony and met many of the parents before and after. There were 95 graduates, most were going on to school, one to the military and the remainder will seek work. They are a bright and talented group, I wish them the best.
