Senator Eichelberger to Discuss Budget in Needmore

May 4th, 2009

Opportunity for constituents to ask questions about the budget and the economy

On Thursday, May 14, 2009, Senator John H. Eichelberger, Jr. will hold a Town Hall meeting in Needmore, Pennsylvania focusing on the state budget and economic issues.

“The Governor and legislature cannot afford to use creative math to balance this year’s budget.  We have an opportunity, in these difficult times, to reprioritize and restructure how we spend money.  The state’s fiscal affairs will get much worse if we don’t make tough decisions now,” he says.

In addition to the budget, John will address other issues that are of interest to the people in attendance.
