In case you haven’t noticed

May 19th, 2009

Happy Election Day everybody. I hope that everyone who has the interest to read my blog voted today provided that you are old enough and not a convicted felon. This is one of the real litmus tests that separate our nation from many others. And for those who think that the local offices aren’t really that important, you are wrong. These are the people that effect your lives the most including taking a lot of your tax dollars. I had my Marriage Protection Amendment newser this morning and it went very well. About 70 people showed up to support the effort and the weather couldn’t have been nicer. We had good press coverage locally, so far. I was surprised to find out that even the Harrisburg reporters need some coaching on this issue. They don’t seem to have the constitutional amendment process nailed down and they approach this issue as a same-sex marriage issue, it really isn’t. Often the media is too simplistic, in case you haven’t noticed.
