Happy Armed Forces Day everyone. I helped with two flower planting operations this morning in Tyrone after my men’s fellowship. We worked all morning and got a lot done. There is nothing like a freshly mulched flower bed. I attended an Armed Forces Day ceremony in Altoona this afternoon where I played Taps. There was a big crowd at the ceremony. It is nice to see our veterans and active service members honored. I got a little office work done today and part of my yard mowed. The weather is supposed to be iffy all weekend, so we’ll see about the rest of the mowing. I spoke to some people today about the Marriage Protection Amendment bill and have had a good response. There has been a little negative feedback so far, but not much. We are monitoring things closely.
