It was a productive evening

I spent a couple of hours this afternoon at the new Jr. High in Altoona with 8th graders at a career fair. There were three presenters, me, a chef and a social worker. The chef got most of the questions. He was an interesting guy who traveled all over the world and cooked and ate a lot of unusual things, the students loved the stories. I spent this evening at the Bedford Vo-Tech with the county’s school board’s along with Representative Dick Hess. We spent a lot of time on the budget, the federal stimulus money, graduation tests, school consolidation as well as a number of other issues, it was a productive evening.
