Last week Senator Jane Orie and I sent a letter to the Chairman of the PLCB questioning the decision to award a 173,000 dollar contract to a company from Pittsburgh that is owned by the husband of a Regional Manager of the PLCB. Tomorrow the PLCB is appearing before the Law and Justice Committee of the Senate to answer some questions about things in general, Jane and I are going to be there to ask some questions pertaining to the contract. My staff has been doing some research on this situation and it doesn’t appear to me that things were done appropriately. I am anxious to hear the answers to my questions tomorrow.
