Before I got to my office at the capitol this morning, IT had already been in to fix my computer that shut down on me last night. The brand new computer still didn’t work when I tried to use it. It didn’t shut down but it wouldn’t let me in to my account. This is an example of why I use equipment until I have to get something new. If it works, keep using it. The big news in Harrisburg today was the decision by the two large Blue Cross carriers to pull their application to merge. This is great news for the consumers and the hospitals. We don’t have enough health insurance competition in this state as it is and it would have gotten much worse with the merger. We all dodged a bullet with this decision.
