I had another busy day in the district. I went to Begin With Us Day Care and Preschool at 7:30 this morning and spoke to a group of parents, kids and grandparents. I then went to a meeting in Altoona on “active transportation” (which means walking or biking). I then met with a friend from Penn State Altoona and then spoke to two 4th grade classes at Baker Elementary School in Altoona. I had one more meeting in Hollidaysburg and then hit the office for a while before shopping for a lawn mower tonight. I got one that should put me back on track with my yard. I have a race at 8:00 tomorrow morning in Hyndman, Bedford County, it is about an hour away so I need to be up early. It is only a 5K but after the week I had, I’ll be lucky to make it. I’d better get some sleep.
