Now that would be a good newspaper story

April 6th, 2008

I didn’t have any events today so after church I hit the office and got out some work. I took a break to clean my truck, which it really needed. I used to clean my vehicle every Saturday, it’s nearly impossible to do that these days but I don’t like it to get too far gone. There wasn’t much in the papers today, the same old stuff, Clinton and Obama. I guess that it appears to many in the media that not much else is happening in this state and maybe they’re right. Maybe the legislature can get some things done but that doesn’t appear to be happening anytime soon. There is a tremendous amount of legislation bottled up in the House. Their agenda seems to be the Governors and few other bills are making it through the entire process. It is to the point where the media should be looking into where bills are, how long they have been there, why they aren’t moving and who is holding them up. Now that would be a good newspaper story.
