Today was our news tour of the district to discuss our year end report. Things went well, I think. I will reserve final judgment until after I have seen all of the news stories. The Altoona Mirror did a piece this morning that was very nice and was very accurate with one exception. The caption under the photo on the front page said that I personally paid for the furniture in the offices. This was inaccurate and should be listed as a correction in the paper soon. I would note that the writer of the story did not make that error and that her story cited the correct information about the furniture. I did meet with a constituent today and worked with staff on some other issues. I am going to Harrisburg tomorrow and will visit the Farm Show at lunch time. I am looking forward to seeing the show again this year.
