Consistency from Harrisburg…?

Article posted on January 19, 2008

I got a lot of work done today but have plenty left to do.  I saw a study a couple of years ago that said that some people don’t have a realistic understanding of their available time to accomplish things, especially on weekends.  My wife and son think that I am one of those people.  I always plan to get a tremendous amount of work out on weekends and I do.  I also have various events to attend so things get pretty tight.  The other factor is that things usually take longer than I think they will.  I am a list maker and try to scratch things off of the list as I work.  Unfortunately, I always end up adding to the list as I think of other things that need done.  Anyway, Charlotte and I had a great dinner tonight at the McAlevy’s Fort Fire Hall then left early to drive to the Roaring Spring Fire Hall to see a little of their program and say hello to the people there.  Tomorrow’s papers should be interesting after the tax cutting spree in the House this week.  That’s what I like about Harrisburg, consistency.
