I had a busy day. I ran 6 miles this morning and boy was it cold, 7 degrees, -11 with the wind. I went to church for a while and left early to get to a pro-life walk in Tyrone. Each year for 21 years, the folks at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Tyrone have hosted a 1.25 mile walk to a babies grave where a brief service is held then a luncheon back at the church. I have gone to this for several years and appreciate the work that goes into the event. I later attended a concert at St. John’s Catholic Church in Lakemont. The U.S. Navy Brass Quintet played for about an hour and a half, they were spectacular. The bass trombone player is from Hollidaysburg. I only got a few minutes of paperwork done today but expect to get caught up a little tomorrow since the office is closed for Martin Luther King Day. I had a nice compliment from Brad Bumstead in the Pittsburgh Tribune Review today, I appreciate it.
