Why don’t people speak up?

October 14th, 2007

View As Web PageAfter church today I went to the East Freedom Fire Hall for a ham and turkey dinner.  I have gone there every second Sunday of the month for years, I seldom miss.  Again, I had two people approach me about PHEAA, and they weren’t PHEAA supporters.  I attended a Game Commission deer event at the Blair County Convention Center.  The attendance was low and the staff told me that the attendance was small at similar events across the state.  The people who have voiced complaints about deer management have this opportunity to speak with the Game Commission and their specialists.  I don’t know why they didn’t.  Maybe they didn’t know about it or maybe they just didn’t think it was that important.  I hit the office for the next few hours and took care of what I could before I go to Harrisburg in the morning.
